Patch Notes - War Room Stress Test

Thanks to our testers

A Note

Thanks to everyone who helped to test things out today. As always we continue to work at improving everything for everyone. This update also includes collaborative boards, but I'll put out a separate post going into those in more detail.

Collaborative Draft Boards

  • Draft Boards can now be collaborated on by users. If you have a free account, your max collaborators is set to 5. With a Pro account, this increases to 10. For data management and integrity reasons, it is not advisable at this time to go past 10 users on a single board. I will work to up BOTH of those limits but that is where we are starting.

War Room Fixes

  • No more force trading with CPUs. Previously, you could force through trades that the CPU rejected. That's gone. If the CPU says no, you'll need to sweeten the deal.
  • CPU trades now work in solo war rooms. If you're the only human in a war room draft, trading with CPU teams no longer errors out.
  • GM override is now tiebreaker only. GMs can no longer shift-click to instantly pick before the room has voted. The override now only kicks in when votes are tied, ensuring your war room's majority rules.
  • Commissioners: the GM assignment panel is easier to find. We made the "Promote to GM" button in the lobby more visible so hosts can set up their rooms properly before the draft starts.

Timer Improvements

  • Everyone can see the pick timer now. Previously only the active picker saw the countdown. Now all participants see it ticking in real time.
  • Per-round timer settings display correctly. If you set custom timers per round, the clock now shows the right number instead of defaulting to 10.

Trade Value Fix

  • Compensatory and extra-round pick values are now accurate in trades. Picks like a second R4 were being valued at a generic mid-round estimate instead of their actual draft position. The numbers you see next to each pick now match the trade total.

Share Card Redesign

  • Draft recap graphics are more readable. Switched to a two-column layout with larger text. Should be much easier to read when shared on Discord or social media.

Other improvements

  • Assistant GMs can now see their team recap after a draft completes.
  • Better error message if you accidentally end up on the wrong account mid-draft.
  • Notification badge now uses your accent color instead of red.
